Where conversion happens
With AC charging, the vehicle’s onboard charger converts incoming AC electricity to DC. DC charging performs the conversion outside the vehicle and supplies DC to the battery system.
Power is a limit, not a promise
Actual charging power can be limited by the vehicle, the site supply or shared charging equipment. A higher-rated unit does not make every car charge at that rating.
Match the connector and the vehicle
Connector systems vary by vehicle and market. Confirm both physical compatibility and the supported charging protocol using manufacturer documentation before choosing equipment or an adapter.
