Look at when the vehicle is parked
Solar production and charging demand need to coincide, or energy must come from storage or another supply. Available solar output also changes with conditions.
Include the existing loads
A charger shares the electrical installation with other equipment. Supply capacity, cable routes, parking arrangements and protection need a site-specific assessment by a qualified electrical professional.
Bring useful information
Prepare the vehicle model, charging requirements, parking location, daily travel needs and details of existing solar or storage. Overseas charging labels and installation rules do not establish what is appropriate for a Nigerian site.
